DC law requires that apartment buildings and condominiums larger than 4 units must privately outsource trash pickup. Woodley Plaza uses Teneleytown Trash for waste disposal and recylcling.
Trash pickup for Woodley Plaza takes place Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Recycling is picked up Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Residents may NOT dispose of large items such as appliances or mattresses at the Woodley Plaza dumpsters. Doing so is a violation of the Bylaws and will subject residents to hefty fines from the building. Additionally, any fines imposed by the City for improper disposal of such items will also be passed to violating residents.
Christmas trees are generally picked up on Saturdays in the weeks after the holidays and may be left beside the dumpsters.
